The Prevailing Winds Community Band is an exciting new opportunity for
people of the Tri-Cities area and beyond to play their, perhaps long dormant,
instruments. The band has been formed by Bob Fullerton, local musician and
owner of "Prevailing Winds" Instruments & Instruction. Bob invites all those
with some high school (or above) background in music. There is no charge
for participation. If you haven't played your horn for years, now's your chance
to come have some fun in a very informal, no-pressure, concert band.
Our rehearsals are currently drawing 35-40 musicians, with our membership
list having grown into the 60's! To accommodate the amazing response to
this new venture, we have moved our rehearsal site (effective May 17) to;
St. John's Episcopal Church - Parish Hall
524 Washington Ave. (across from GH Public Safety)
Grand Haven, MI
Saturday mornings, 11am -12 noon.
(Note: NO REHEARSAL the first Saturday of each month)
